I've been down to the Stockyards, but Chance wasn't with me, and he still has never been.
I've been to Sundance Square and West 7th, but that's about it.
Friday night, Chance and I headed out to this Mexican food restaurant called Mama's Texican, out in Lake Worth, and it was really good! They had a live band and we really enjoyed our time out on the patio singing to old classics.
My sister and Jax came to spend the long holiday Labor Day weekend with me, and we did so many fun things.
Saturday night, we were off to the Stockyards to watch the rodeo. Jax was a little apprehensive at first, because one horse that was tied to a trailer was not happy, but once we got inside he was totally fine.
Sunday morning, we woke up and had breakfast at the lake, it was really peaceful and nice.
I told Jax I wanted a pic and he got distracted so fast, it made me laugh.
After breakfast, we headed downtown to Trinity Trails. While down there, we rented a canoe and canoed around for a bit.
We had such a fun time and I can't wait to do it again...once it cools down a bit though, and with Chance so he can do all the rowing ;)
Later that night, we went to Coyote Drive-In Theater. Stacey, Jax and I have never been to a drive in theater, so we were so excited and weren't sure what to expect. We arrived pretty early, parked the car just right, folded the seats down and made a pallet with comforters and pillows. We locked the car up and headed over to the patio. They had a live band, food trucks, concession stand, bar and kid play area. Jax played a bit while Stace grabbed us some food. We had so much fun in the car all hanging out together. We saw Straight Outta Compton, and since Jax wasn't allowed to watch it, he had to watch Netflix on my phone.
