Plank walls - Part 3!

The walls have finally come to a close...
In our bedroom, we put two coats of paint on them, and then finally were able to pull the room together. Our bed and mirrors have been sitting in boxes outside in the garage since we moved in.

Our bed, mirrors, dresser and curtains all could come in at that point...

I still need to get curtain tie backs, and debating on whether or not to do bamboo shades in here like we did in the living and dining room.

Still not completely sold on this comforter by Nate Berkus from Target, and the pillows are definitely not staying this way. I just threw a few on there.

And I will be putting 3 smaller gold frames above the headboard, and haven't ordered nightstands just yet so I grabbed the nightstand and chair out of the guest room to fill our room for now.

This also isn't the TV that belongs in this room, this one goes in the guest room but during moving our TV cord got misplaced or thrown away so I need to order a new one. In the meantime, the guest bedroom TV is working just fine.

I also bought black out curtains so the room would cool down some, it gets extra hot compared to the rest of the house, and I ran out of clips which is why they look so sad hanging on the rod...need to remember to pick some more up!

I made my way into the study and put one coat on the wall and something was just not right!

I remembered that I accidentally grabbed oil based primer, and this was a water based paint so I wasn't sure if that was going to be an issue...well apparently it is!

I will have to scrap these coats off and start from scratch with a water based primer (like I used in the master room) and a water based paint.

A few other pics I randomly took this weekend:
