Mycah also came over and helped me with a bunch of house things!
Here are some pics I had sent my mom of Rylee, our Christmas Tree and our stockings:
We hung some lights above our bed. They are accordion sconces, and are pulled out in one of the pics, but you can't really tell from this pic.
Our room at night:
We hung some pictures. My side of the bed is a pic of a sailboat on Lake Ray Hubbard, since that's where I'm from. His side of the bed is a cool bridge that crosses from TX to OK, since he is from the Red River area. And the middle pic is of where we met (Denton, TX at UNT).
Mycah helped me with the collage wall in the living room. We created it on the dining room floor first so we could get an idea of what it would look like:
And we had extra wood left over so she helped me build this shelf and stain it.
As well as, stain the shelves in the guest bath, study and master toilet area.
I also hated that they painted the window outline on the back door a weird color, so I painted that white.
