So here is a mini recap of the past few weeks:
This year it got incredibly dry here in Dallas, so bad that our lake was looking really sad! The water was so low!
These pictures are from one morning as I was driving over it, the water was covered by smog and it looked really creepy.
This is a picture to show how dry it got. It looks like maybe someone drove right through (what use to be the middle of the lake) in their truck or four wheeler.
One night we had a really bad storm (really glad actually because we needed the rain - see pic above) and the pictures I got from the lightening storm were really cool.
I snapped these pics of Jax "cleaning out the pool".

And this is just a picture of Rylee. She is definitely a mommy's girl. She follows me around everywhere and wants my full attention at ALL times. This is what she does when I try to watch TV.
So Jax yells from upstairs "Look LaLa...so pretty!" And I'm thinking "Oh gosh, what has he gotten into?" So I tell him to come downstairs and this is what I see....its not that bad right?! He just painted his leg and hand. So I take the markers away and hide them. Later we hear him say it again and we are thinking "What could it be? We took away all the markers." Well we thought we did...apparently they found more and he had it all over his face and more of his body. Too bad I didn't get a pic of that though. Little trouble maker...but he is so cute, how do you get mad at a face like that when he is smiling so big?!
Later that day we got a much needed storm and I thought this was a cute pic of Jax and pops outside watching the rain together. Jax even has his "little boy" chair. So cute!
