Easter Weekend

Saturday morning the boys played flag football and did awesome!

Ethan scored 5 touchdowns and had 1 interception.
Kyler scored a touchdown by jumping over 2 kids that had fallen and had a bunch of "sacks" (pulling the flag off the opponent).

This year we changed things up a bit since I wasn't going to be able to celebrate Easter Sunday with my family. Chance was at his parents house this weekend and everyone was getting together on Sunday at his grandparents to celebrate Easter and his granddads 80th birthday, so I couldn't miss that.

Saturday after football we all went to GiGi and Pop's house to hang out with them. We cooked a big Easter dinner Saturday night. It was amazing, as always when my mom cooks!

That night the boys put their baskets outside for the Easter Bunny to fill.

I just wanted one picture, and this is what you get when you have 3 nephews...

Then I finally got a semi normal one

That night we had june bugs really bad and Stace thought it was funny to chase the boys around the backyard...they are like little girls!

Then we woke up early Sunday morning and the boys looked in their baskets to see what all the Easter Bunny brought them. He brought them a new bathing suit, toys, candy, movies, etc.

After that we all went to the front yard to find all the hidden eggs, which was a blast of course!

Later in the day the adults got to search for their secret eggs.
So funny story - Stacey and I both saw an egg but thought it was the others egg (we received a color written on a piece of paper, and hers was green and mine was gold) and we decided to give each other hints. So she said "yours is in that area" and I said "yours is too!" so we walk over there and we are both looking at the egg and she says "come on, I'm looking right at it, I can't be anymore obvious" and I said "I'm looking right at yours and I can't be anymore obvious!" turns out we were both looking at her egg. The sun was hitting it perfectly, and it was a light green, so it kind of looked gold. We had to run it by my mom to make sure that was the green one. Once I found mine, it was clear she had the green egg and I had the gold egg. But It was just funny because we were both giving clues to the same egg.
