Ski Trip to Breckenridge, Co - NYE '13-'14

This year we decided we needed to go skiing over our Christmas break!Chance and my cousin, Chris, had never skied before, so we were really looking forward to laughing at them ;)Stacey and I are ready to go!

We landed and got our rental car...which was really spacious! haha NOT....I have a picture down below of how much leg room my cousin had.On our way to Breckenridge, we stopped in Idaho Springs for some pizza and beer at Beau Jo's.We were celebrating Jason (Dec 26) and Chance's (Dec 29) birthdays!

 We went skiing 2 days and neither Chance or Chris got ski lessons....we told them we would teach them ;)Chris did really well and Chance.....well not so much :( Let's just say that on the first day Chance and I spent a substantial amount of our "ski time" at the bar at Base 8, hehe.But that night he watched a lot of self help videos and when we got out there the 2nd day, you would've thought Chance had been skiing his whole life. I couldn't believe it and I was so excited and proud of him!I grouped all of our pictures together in categories and not how they happened. So all of the ski pictures are together, all of downtown Breck pics are together, tubing pics, etc...So here are the SKI pictures!

Ouch! This is Chris!

We went to Frisco to go night tubing and we had a BLAST!Stacey, Jason and I had night tubed before (Winter 2008 trip to Winter Park with the family) but Chris and Chance hadn't, and it was probably the most fun part of the trip!

Here are a few pictures from NYE night. We had an awesome dinner at a Steakhouse. Missed the parade and fireworks because we were eating and totally forgot :(

After dinner we headed back to our hotel because every bar had a a huge cover, like $100 just to get in, so we brought in the new year at a cool bar at our hotel. When we got there we were looking around and noticed there weren't many girls.....and Chance, Jason and Chris looked at each other and we all started laughing because we all realized we were at a gay bar. It was so much fun and we couldn't have asked for a better group of people to bring in the new year with. It was awesome!

And I made him his favorite no bake cookies. I had to text his mom for the recipe, so when I finished I was sure to send her a pic :)
