Ice Storm Update from Rockwall:IT.WAS.HORRIBLE!We went an entire day without electricity! And I'm sure Chance's uncles are laughing at this seeing as they survived days and days without electricity or gas because of Sandy.Finally, when it started getting dark we ventured out to Home Depot. This was the highlight of our day since we had all been cooped up inside, and we bought a bunch of batteries, flashlights and candles. When we got home we called all around town for a generator. As soon as we were going to pay for one over the phone (but couldn't pick it up until the next morning when the shipment arrived) the lights came back on! Thank goodness and it saved my parents hundreds from having to buy a generator.
