A wonderful weekend!

On Friday night, Mandy and I had a girls night at her place.

We had such a great time, and reminisced all night by going through pics on my blog from our travels...we can't wait to get back to New York!

We decided to run out and grab some pizza, and do a quick "get in get out" at the grocery store for breakfast the next morning. We get into the grocery store and her boys are gone. We are shopping around and next thing you know we turn around to this....they are so silly!

 

Saturday morning we woke up and made breakfast...well Mandy made breakfast, I just lounged on the couch watching HGTV and then Kyler delivered my breakfast to me and said it was like breakfast in bed, but on the couch :)

 

We all got ready and headed to Jaxon's first soccer game. He was so stinkin' cute!

 

Check out all these action shots I got of him. It was a half serious game and half play around game. I'm sure the more he has the more serious he will be about getting the ball to the other end. But he did great!

He has to get a pic with his #1 fan!

This one is my favorite one of him...he was so excited to be playing!

After the soccer game we all headed over to Jake's for burgers to celebrate Jaxon's first soccer game and Dads birthday that is on Monday.

After lunch we all headed back to my parents. Stacey, Jax, Jason, Jason's parents Sam and Jana, Mandy, Ronnie, Kyler, Ethan, Me, Nate, Chance joined us after he got off work, and my dads parents came over too. We hung out and grilled fajitas. My dad is known for drinking out of yellow Dickey's cups. My mom will prepare a great dinner and the table will look beautiful and my dad brings a Dickey's cup to the table...umm no! So for his birthday celebration we thought it was fitting for everyone to drink out of a Dickey's cup. We all wrote messages on the cups, some messages rhymed with Dickey's so I won't post those...all in all it was a great night!

Sunday morning my mom had to leave for Atlanta for work and I made everyone breakfast. We all got ready and headed to a Texas Rangers game because Chance booked us a suite! When we got there food and drinks had been delivered and it makes the experience so much better when your team wins.

I hope this was a fun birthday present to you dad and I'm said mom couldn't experience this with us.
