I ran by the house to check it out and start measuring everything so we know how much flooring to purchase, what size washer, dryer, fridge we can get, etc. We also received great news, our house will be complete on October 8th, we have a walk through on October 9th to learn everything about the house, and we close on October 15th.
Here are a few pics I took yesterday:
Foyer
Kitchen. The cabinets pictured incredibly dark. They aren't black they are actually a dark stained brown.
We are really looking forward to tearing out the mantle and tile and replacing with stone and a cedar mantle.
We also upgraded the slate in the master bath. Again, it is picturing really brown but there are more greens and blues in the tile than pictured.
We are excited about hanging out in our backyard and it will definitely need some sprucing up!
September 15:
Our walls have been textured and painted! No pics...we haven't even seen it :(
September 6:
Today Chance and I took my parents out to see our house since my dad has never been out there and the last time my mom was out was when we purchased the lot.
We have sheet rock and brick!

August 27:
I met with our builder today to do a walk-through and make sure everything is correct before they sheet rock.
Here are a few pics I took...make sure to check out our brick and the shingles!
Good thing I met with the builder because this tub is wrong. We upgraded it and they will replace it with just a tub and the slate tiles we picked out for the walls.
August 17:
We spent the weekend with Chance's parents in Arlington, so we went by our lot before heading home. We had been told they were going to frame, but we weren't sure if it was completed. So to pull up and see a house was crazy!
August 9:
Since I happened to be in the area and was anxious to find out if our foundation was poured (we were told by the builder it would happen this week but never received a confirmation) so I stopped by and it had been! I'm especially excited about our covered patio, it's a lot bigger than I expected!
August 2:
Today Chance and I went out to our lot to check up on the house and to see what stage we were in.
We had our first inspection and it passed!
I wrote on a few of the pics to help everyone see what rooms are where.

Our house is located 4 miles from a really large lake, 3 miles from a medium sized lake and a mile from a small lake...here are a few pics from the small lake near our house. They have a boat dock and I'm sure Chance will want a boat soon! They also have a few trails to run on.
On the way home I just had to get a picture of the Dallas skyline...I have lived in Dallas for 27 years so moving to Fort Worth is a huge change for me, but I couldn't ask for a better partner in life to make this move with!
