My new car!

I have been at my job for awhile now and Rhonda the Honda has just given up on me completely. I have been driving my brothers truck (big shout out to Nate for letting me borrow your truck and you not have one at all...best brother ever!) to work now since the day I started. I'm sure he is ready for his black beauty back so it's that time in my life....to purchase my first new car and start making car payments! Chance and I did a lot of research and searched around everywhere. We were at dealerships every weekend and we finally got it down to 2 contenders....well not specific contenders, but it was either a coupe (G37, BMW, Lexus etc) or an SUV (a good mom car!) and I have decided on.....DRUM ROLL PLEASE....a 2009 Toyota Highlander!

I went with the mom car! As much as I would love a small little car (and the gas payment on it), I want to have this car for many many years to come and getting an SUV will just make having a baby in a car seat so much easier.

And had I gone with the small car, Rylee wasn't allowed in it because of the leather seats...and she is my baby so that wasn't going to work. My SUV is leather also but there is a perfect section for her all the way in the back that is carpeted :) So she rides back there, Chance and I ride up front, and all of our bags and stuff ride in the middle seat. It's perfect!

I went with one that had a navigation screen, which also turns into a camera when I am reversing.

I have all the controls I need on my steering wheel so I don't have to look down at the radio = safer driving :)

Leather seats throughout

Push to start...which I thought was cool because my keys are always buried in the bottom of my purse, but it's kind of a pain sometimes because when you get home you have to dig for them anyways to find the house key.

Heated seats for those cold Winter mornings!
