Stacey's Dallas Baby Shower & Nursery

This was such an exciting day for all of us. We had been looking forward to this day for months. The hostess' (Me, my Mom, my sister Mandy, and Stacey's two good friends Ashley and Tiffany) showed up early to get the party ready. We decorated and cut fruits and veggies and got everything looking perfect. Jason's mom, Jana, also was a huge help in this whole process. Friends and family started piling through the front door, this was definitely the biggest baby shower I had ever been to.  The gifts just kept coming and coming. We all ate lunch and drank tea, water, wine and sangria for a little bit, then played a baby question game which was really cute. And then Stace opened her gifts...this was the longest process ever since she received so much from all of her great friends.  People started saying their goodbyes after we had been opening for almost an hour. We had so much fun going through all of Jax's new stuff. And if you were at the baby shower and you noticed that my mom gave my sister a coffee maker and fan, we just want everyone to know that it was neither one of those, my sisters diaper bag was in one of the boxes and Jason's daddy bag was in the other. Thank you to everyone who came and we couldn't have asked for a better day!

I made Jaxon a scrapbook following his whole first year! This will take the place of his baby book. I'll have my sister take pictures so I can post them. It is not complete obviously, I basically just did the outline of the book and all my sister has to do is get pictures developed and slide them into place.

As our hostess gifts, Stacey gave all of us our favorite wine, with a cute little wine cork and an adorable message on the back of the bottle that was personalized for all of us. Such a good job Stace, I loved it!
