Christmas in Winter Park, CO

My family and I wanted to have a real white Christmas, so we decided to all make the drive to Winter Park, Colorado. It was about a 15 hour drive.

We knew we were going to love Winter Park, because we had heard it was a very family friendly park and during Christmas Santa brings his reindeers for all the kids to pet.

We spent the week skiing, snowboarding, tubing, sledding, shopping, laughing and doing many other things. While we were up there we celebrated my mom and Jason's birthday.

We stayed at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge and it was beautiful and in the middle of everything. We couldn't have picked a better condo to stay in!

On Christmas Eve we watched Santa come down the mountain on a snowmobile!

There are so many activities to do while staying here in WP. We had snowball fights, made snow angels, skied and snowboarded rode down the hill on a sled, walked across the iced over pond...I will never do that again! I was afraid for my life. We drove to Fraser to do the night tubing, it was only about a 10 minute drive, so totally worth it!

The area at the bottom of the mountain, near our hotel, is so cute. There are plenty of cute little shops, food and a Starbucks.
