This year the boys are playing soccer and they really love it, and they are really good!

Murder Mystery Dinner with the girls

Friday night the girls and I went to a Murder Mystery Dinner in Dallas. It was a lot of fun but not really what I expected. I thought it was going to be more of a show and then we had to guess who did the killing and what they used but it wasn't like that at all. They asked one person from each table to partake in the murder, etc. I would have rather hung out at the table with the girls but people were coming over to our table constantly to question the one chosen person at our table. Overall, it was still fun to have a girls night out!

DPS Responds in West, Texas

Following the fertilizer plant explosion in West, Texas, earlier this week, we're grateful to report that our DPS employees in the area are safe, although the community was devastated and outreach is ongoing. Our local teams responded to support impacted employees, and the DPS Employee Relief Fund is available to assist with emergency financial support. DPS also has partnered with the

American Red Cross through a $1 million, four-year commitment to the Annual Disaster Giving Program to ensure that the Red Cross, which is now on the ground in West, is able to provide immediate relief to disaster victims.

Sunday Funday with Chance!

Chance and I have both been so busy we decided we needed a day to go play together!

We started with a late lunch/early dinner at The Cheesecake Factory...and of course we ate WAY too much!

Then we went to Dave N Busters and acted like kids for the next few hours. After "we" (AKA Chance) won lots of coupons we went to turn them in and collect our prizes. We had 2,103 coupons! It was love at first sight when I noticed a small size food chopper sitting there worth 2,100 coupons (another obvious sign) and when I told Chance that's what I wanted he couldn't argue. I just gave him a big smile :) He just laughed and smiled at me, I then proceeded to say "Happy Wife, Happy Life" and he just laughed again and I said "Oh I know!"

After Dave N Busters we headed back towards our house and picked up our friend Matt and we all went to see the movie 42. It was really good! I give it 4/4 stars but DO NOT take your children to it unless you can fully explain how times were back then and how certain words should not be repeated from this movie. All in all, great Sunday Funday!

Happy Birthday Nate!

It's Nate's 23rd birthday!! Woo Hoo....Hope you had a great birthday Nate! We all celebrated with BBQ and drinks over at my sister and Jason's house and played some fun yard games in the back yard. Hope you like the book Chance and I got you! Nate with each of his 3 favorite sisters :)

We had such a nice relaxing day hanging out over at my MiMi and Granddads house. The weather was beautiful and the guys hung out in the back fishing all day in the pond behind their house. Happy Birthday everyone!

Opening Day - TX Rangers

Today, our Media Buyer Amee got tickets from Clear Channel so we were able to go to opening day at Ranger's Stadium. We were not ditching work, this was a team building event....right?! ;) We had so much fun! Go Rangers!!
