A few weeks ago you may recall a conversation Matt, Chris and I had in Bluff Dale about needing to go on a ski trip...well this is that trip!
Chance, Myself, Matt, Chris and Nate all stayed the night at our place since we had to be at the airport so early and Stacey, Jason and Caitlyn stayed over at Stacey and Jason's.
We had originally purchased a 10am flight out of Dallas, but Frontier changed our flight to the 6am flight.
Below is our schedule for Day #1:
2:30am Wake up
3am Leave the house
3:45am Arrive at Park N Fly
4:15am Arrive at DFW Airport
4:30am Check in
5am Go through airport security
5:30am Board the plane
6am Take off

7am Land in Denver
7:20am Rent 2 SUV's and make the 90 minute drive to Breckenridge
Made a pit stop at Walmart
We arrived in Breck too early to check into our house, so we couldn't go to the grocery store either.
We explored around town and found a little tavern right behind our house.
We popped in for a beer and lunch and then hung out on the balcony until our house was ready for check in!

Finally, it was time to check in. We dropped everyone off at the house with the luggage and Chance, Matt and I ran to the grocery store.
Once we got home, we relaxed in the hot tub, made dinner and played games...in our onesies!
The guys didn't know we had bought them for them, so we surprised them and made them wear them!

Day #2
This was our first day to ski. We woke up and had breakfast and got everyone ready. We drove to the lift this day, not realizing just how close we were to the ski lift and ended up parking further than we probably would've walked from our house.
Today was Caitlyn and Matt's first time to ever ski. Matt was so awesome! He grew up in Boston and he said it was very similar to ice skating...Caitlyn was not as fortunate but wants to go on next years ski trip so she can hang out in town while we ski.
After we finished skiing, we headed back to the house and all showered and got ready for dinner.
We walked around for a bit checking a few different pizza places but everyone had a really long wait since it was Ullr Fest. We ended up at Fati's Pizza and it was delicious!
After we headed back to the house to get in the hot tub and play card games!

Day #3:
The day before, Chance hurt his hip skiing so he wanted to sit out this morning. Jason was also feeling altitude sickness so Stacey, Caitlyn and Myself hung out around the house while Matt, Nate and Chris went skiing. This day they just walked right across the street to the ski lift and jumped on.
Caitlyn decided to lay back down and take a nap and Stace and I wanted to go exploring around town. Here are some neat pictures we took.
Once back to the house, Stacey, Jason and I headed up the mountain to get a few runs in.
Once I got up there I realized how sore my legs were from standing and waiting on Caitlyn the day before...so much that I could barely hold myself up towards the end.

That night after skiing we headed back to the house to make dinner. Matt's brother just moved to Colorado for the Army, so he drove out to Breck to hang out with us.
My sister and I came up with a fun game where you had to be pushed in sled to the end of the drive where a table was set up and you had to chug your drink and play flip cup. Once you were finished the next person on your team could go. It was really fun but snowing so hard!
Day #4:
Today we woke up and Stace, Jason, Nate and I explored the town a little more. We found a cool little Mexican restaurant and it was pretty good!
After getting back to the house everyone else was ready to head out, so we ran around with them and bought souvenirs. After shopping for a bit we found a local tavern and watched the Patriots game...Matt made us!
Day #5:
We woke up, made breakfast and everyone packed. Around 10am we headed out. First stop - Firsco Adventure Park to do some tubing. When we got there, they said they were so busy that they couldn't get us in a tube until 3pm and that was too late for us. Instead we headed to Idaho Springs to get pizza from Beau Jo's.

After lunch we headed back to the car rental, dropped the cars and took the shuttle to the airport.
We had so much fun and can't wait until our next ski trip!
