New pots for the front door:
Chance's parents came in town and spent quality family time with us. While they were here Chance and his dad decked the attic, so we were able to move so much up there!
I decided to finally paint this dresser that Ashley gave us. We are using it outside as a bar/hang out area. We have a TV and wireless AT&T box as well, so we can take the TV out and hang on the patio now that the weather is nice! (I will get knobs soon! And yes, pictures of our house at night look SO yellow! It's bad but not as bad in person, pictures just made it look extraordinarily awful!

While I was doing that - Chance was working on a custom firewood holder for the back patio.
He planned it and built it and I stained it for him. Great job Chance!

If you'll remember, when we were in San Francisco on a sibling/mom trip, all of us girls bought crushed wine bottles as spoon rests. Mine has sat on my oven top for months and I cook almost every single night. All of a sudden, the other night I was sitting there stirring our dinner and I heard a snap noise and saw this :(
Guess it's time to go back to San Fran to buy a new one!

We've also decided not to stone the bar area, so for now, Chance painted it grey to match the rest of the house:
