We had so much fun and the weather could not have been any better. The high was about 80 and I have never in my life packed jeans and sweatshirt to go camping in July.
Chance's mom thought of everything, she brought out all the games (farkle - favorite dice game, skip bo- had never played it before until this weekend, one of my favorite cards games now, washers and horse shoes.
Friday night we relaxed, just the 4 of us, Chance, me, his mom and dad & just grilled out and played games.

Saturday morning we woke up, hung out some more, & ate some awesome breakfast burritos that his mom and dad made.
We had decorated camp and let his dad open our gift before everyone showed up. We got him a tree blind to bow hunt in and he really liked it.
Later in the afternoon Chance and his dad went to their deer lease (about a 10 minute drive from our campsite) to shoot Chance's new gun. He was really excited about it! I'll have to ask him what it is and get a picture of it.
After they came back, and his mom and I made a trip into town to get all the pizza and ice cream, the guest started showing up.
Happy Birthday Jeff! The big 5-0!!
