On the night before Christmas Eve, my Mom's side of the family came over and my boyfriend Chance came over as well to meet everyone for the very first time! I was very nervous but at the same time very excited. My family is a lot to take in, we are very loud, but it's great! He really liked my family and my family loved him as well, so that was super exciting for me. We ate dinner and opened gifts (even had some gag gifts in there for the kids. The gag gift idea is from Jimmy Kimmel's I gave my child a bad present video, go watch it. It's beyond funny.)

On Christmas Eve morning, Stacey, my mom and I prepared for my Dad's side of the family to come over. This day is a little less stressfull because there are only 16 people instead of 32 like on my mom's side. The Shurtleff's ate dinner and opened presents. We read "Twas' the Night Before Christmas" like we always do and set out milk and cookies for Santa.

Sunday morning we woke up very early for two reasons. #1-We have a baby in the house now so we are all on Jaxon's schedule! #2- Stacey and Jason had to celebrate Christmas with us and then drive down to College Station to celebrate Christmas with Jason's family. We all opened our presents and played around with the goodies that Santa brought us. Then we ate our traditional breakfast casserole and sausage balls while drinking mimosas. After everyone slowly left my parents house I packed up my car with all my presents and Rylee and I made the drive to Denison to see Chance and meet his parents (he is an only child, so no siblings).
I thought this was really funny. After breakfast this is what I saw in the living room:

When it got dark we drove around Loy Lake Park to see the lights
After the lights we went to a local bar and I met his best friend Luke and his girlfriend Haley. At the bar Chance engraved our initials into a table :)
