Stacey's Baby Update - 14 weeks

My sister Stacey and her husband Jason are pregnant with their first child. I have blogged about them many times before! I can't say enough about them. They are just so amazing and will be the most perfect parents I know, aside from my mom and dad of course :)

She will be 14 weeks on Friday when we all get together for my mom's birthday, which I will blog about so stay tuned to see what this year's theme will be...last years was NYC!

So last week she went to the doctor and the doctor had already told her that this visit she might be able to tell the sex and if she did that it would probably only be about 80% accurate. So my sister is laying there...and I can picture her just so excited and anxious.....and the Sonogrammer....Sonographer...Sonography, haha I don't know, says "Wow it definitely looks like a boy!".....this next part is literally copied and pasted from my sisters blog because she knows all about it...."We talked about how boys genitalia is perpendicular to the backbone, girls is parallel and if it appears to be in the middle, that's where you can mistake it."

It is a............drum roll please.........BOY! Yay! All of us couldn't be more excited that Jaxon Slade AKA Jax will be joining our family in just a few months. Her due date is somewhere around June 10th...I'll have to check with her again, we haven't talked about due dates since her last visit and I'm not sure if they were able to give her a more accurate date.

If someone were to show me this random sonogram picture, I could tell you who the father is...ok I take that back I can't really tell whats going on here, but if someone where to explain this picture to me and said: "He is laid back, one arm behind his head, other arm under his chin, legs crossed at the ankles"....I would know that this child belongs to my brother in law Jason...like father like son! I'm so excited for Jax to be born so I can see which (of my sister or Jason) he resembles, acts like, etc. I can't wait to see his personality. But from the looks of it he will be taking after Jas!
