HAPPY 28TH BIRTHDAY STACEY!
Our day started with an awesome farm to table breakfast. My mom made egg, bacon and cheese croissants. We even used fresh home grown tomatoes that my mom and Nate are growing ......ok so the tomatoes were really the only farm to table products but they were delish!
After breakfast Mandy and the little boys had to go home. Stacey, mom and I went to the spa. We got a manicure, pedicure and had a glass of wine to toast Stacey's birthday. After the spa we went home, got ready and headed out to Lone Star Park for the horse races!!

Between races we would all go outside and check out the horses for the next race. I decided that #9 was going to be my big win. 9 is my favorite number and the saddle is teal (my favorite color). So, I'm going to bet big on this one (well, big for me $20.) Anyway........not so much. My #9 lost :(
Nate and I hanging out. Trying to figure out how we can win a lot of money!
Stacey opening her gift. Check out the wrapping that my mom did. The paper has horses on it and the ribbon had horse related charms hanging from it. All for the races. Good job mom!
After the races ended, the fireworks started. The best firework show I've ever seen! It went on and on and last more than 30 minutes.
